Sounds to me, like progressive christians are those that got Jesus was saying.
While not a christian by any stretch, the teachings of Jesus are a part of my past and are still good things to know, helping others, being interested in what can be done rather than what you have and be good to each other.
My argument with religion has been the shit that got put on top of that. This article gives me hope, that the loud voice of conservative ‘christianity’ is not the only voice out there.

You are most welcome. I am not a fan of “religion” – to me faith is a personal thing – relationship with God is a personal thing. This gave me hope also, which is why I reblogged it.
